Who Are Matco Tool Franchisees?

Matco Franchisees are personal business owners who sell, deliver, and service tools using mobile tool stores that THEY own. That means they set their own schedules, grow their own businesses, and write their own paychecks.

Do I Need to Find Customers?

You’ll be assigned to a route with approximately 325 exclusive potential customers. Each state route is local to the area in which you live. Because this is a personal business opportunity, Matco assembles a list of customers and businesses to make up each route within driving distance.

Do I Need Tool Experience?

Our world-class business training means no tool or automotive experience is needed. A successful franchisee is typically someone who enjoys talking to people and building relationships.

How Do I Qualify?

Matco is very selective with who is awarded a franchise route. Our screening process assesses many factors when selecting for a local distributor, including financial and personal measures. Based on our experience, if we don't believe a candidate will be successful, we won't award them with a franchise.

You're In Business for Yourself, Not by Yourself

From onboarding and initial training to marketing support and operational assistance, Matco helps you at every stage of your journey.
